Harry Aldrich - Elkland
 

Harry graduated from Elkland Area HS and played Basketball for 4 years. He was a 2,000 point scorer, 3rd All-Time Leading Scorer in NTL West, behind Tom McMillan and Phil Hickey. In 2002, he was NTL West MVP; Star Gazette Player of the Year in 2001 and 2002; Corning Leader Player of the Year 2002. Elkland was District 4 Champions in 2002 with a record of 27-1. They were NTL West Champs in 2000 and 2002. He played Basketball at Houghton College and Mansfield University where he graduated in 2007.

He received a Bachelors Degree in Sports Managementfrom California U of PA while playing professional Baseball. He played 13 years of professional baseball; for the Cleveland Indians where he was a 3rd round draft pick, Kansas City Royals, and Pittsburgh Pirates organizations. In September of 2004, he was the South Atlantic Pitcher of the Week. In HS in 2001, he was 3rd Team Baseball HS All-American, 2002 1st team HS All-American, 2-time NTL West Player of the Year. in 2002, he was NTL West Basketball All-Star, Corning Leader 1st Team All-Twin Tiers, Star Gazette 1st Team All-Twin Tiers Basketball, Star Gazette Male Athlete of the Year and Regional Athlete of the Year, and Pennsylvania Gatorade Baseball Player of the Year.

An Elkland HS graduate of 2002 where he played Baseball and Basketball for 4 years and Golf for 2. Clarissa graduated from Mansfield HS in 2005 where she participated in Cross Country, Track & Field, and Basketball. She was a State Qualifier in XC, District Qualifier in T&F, and a 1,000 point scorer in Basketball. He HS basketball teams made the Elite 8, 2005 District Championship, and NTL Championships. Clarissa graduated from MU in 2009. She was on the Basketball, XC, and Indoor-Outdoor Track & Field teams. She was All-PSAC in XC and T&F, a National Qualifier in T&F, and a Playoff Qualifier in Basketball.

Clarissa graduated from Mansfield HS in 2005 where she participated in Cross Country, Track & Field, and Basketball. She was a State Qualifier in XC, District Qualifier in T&F, and a 1,000 point scorer in Basketball. He HS basketball teams made the Elite 8, 2005 District Championship, and NTL Championships. Clarissa graduated from MU in 2009. She was on the Basketball, XC, and Indoor-Outdoor Track & Field teams. She was All-PSAC in XC and T&F, a National Qualifier in T&F, and a Playoff Qualifier in Basketball.

Laura graduated in 2004 from Williamson where she participated for 4 years in Volleyball, Basketball, and Track & Field. While at Williamson, she set school records in the 200m, 400m, 100m hurdles, javelin, triple jump, and pole vault. She set the NTL Meet record in the triple jump, placed in districts to qualify for states in multiple events in 2003-04 and in 2004, placed 6th at States in the 100m hurdles and triple jump. Laura graduated from Lock Haven in 2007.

Gary graduated from North Penn HS is 1973. Gary was a 4-year participant in Track & Field and Wrestling. He wrestled in the 112 lb. weight class. His junior year he was the Outstanding Wrestler of the Year. He took 1st place in the Christmas Tournament his junior year, and 2nd his senior year. As a team, North Penn had winning seasons during all of his 4 years. Gary finished his HS career with a record of 42 wins - 16 losses.

Tara graduated from Wellsboro in 1999 where she competed in Cross Country and Track & Field. She was on the State Champion 4x800m in 1998 and was 3rd at States in 1999. Tara graduated from the College of William & Mary in 2003 where she was a Captain and NCAA participant in XC and Track.

Roger graduated from Montoursville HS Class of 1976. He played 6 years of Football, Wrestling, and 4 years of Tennis. He graduated from Lock Haven University where he wrestled one year. As Wrestling Coach at Liberty for 4 years, he had 4 wrestlers qualify for State Competition; One, Mike Davis came in 2nd. Roger took 10 wrestlers to Districts and 6 to Regionals. He was Assistant coach for 4 years at North Penn for the Football team. Roger became a PIAA Football and Wrestling Official in 1983 and is still doing both today. He has done both District Semi-Final and Final games in Football, officiated at all 4 different sectional wrestling tournaments, and was the wrestling chapter interpreter for a number of years.

Before becomming AD at Liberty, he helped the different sports teams as scorekeeper and ran the clock at home events. Roger was the AD at Liberty for 22 years, during which he was a member of the NTL AD's, District IV AD Association, and the State AD Assoiation (PSADA). He was a state delegate from District IV at the PSADA convention for over 10 years. As AD at Liberty, he helped start Girls Softball and Girls Soccer programs, was a member of the Booster Club and helped run the elementary wrestling tournaments, as well as the old timer's tournament for 2 years. Roger started and ran the Liberty Duals (wrestling tournament) and is nowhelping with the Kiwanis Boys Basketball Tournament at Liberty each year. He has been a member of the PIAA District IC committee for the past 13 years; the first 2 years as the AD rep and then as Junior High rep for the last 11 years. On the District IV committee, he has been the District Tennis chairman for the last 12 years and helped Mr. Botsford bring in the by-law for co-operative sports that both Northern Tioga and Southern Tioga school districts (as well as many others) use so more students can participate in sports.

Lewis was a 1945 graduate of Coudersport HS where he played Basketball and Football for 4 year. He graduated from Lock Haven in 1949 where he played Football and Basketball for one year. Starting in the 1950's, he started coaching in the Cowanesque Valley School District where he coached JV/Varsity Basketball, Soccer, and Baseball for many years and won several Basketball and Baseball championships.

A 1966 graduate of Wellsboro HS, Jim played Football, Basketball, Baseball, and Track & Field. In 1966, he won the John Antoine Prevost Athlete of the Year Award. He was a member of the Mile Relay Team that set the school record as was the 1966 Team Captain of the T&F team. He graduated in 1970 from Westminster where he participated in T&F. He is the son of Lou Youdas, who is credited as the Founder of the Tioga County Sports Hall of Fame.
