Jack Maynard

Jack is a 1982 graduate of Wellsboro Area High School. Jack was a 4 year varisty letterman in Football and Track, and a 2 year varsity letterman in Basketball. He was Co-Captain of the Football team in 1982. Jack was selected to both NTL and Twin Tier Big 33 teams in both 1981 and 1982. Jack held many school records for receptions, receiving yards, and yards gained. In 1982 he was captain of the Track team, where he qualified for districts 3 years in a row. In Track, Jack participated in high jump, long jump, triple jump, 400m, 1600m, 100m high hurdles, and 3200m relay. He earned 2 varsity letters in Basketball and was team captain in 1982. Jack graduated from Mansfield University and played football in 1983.  Jack went on to Penn State University for Graduate School.
